What kinds of photography do you offer?
I specialize in studio and on-location portraiture. Several genres fall under that umbrella: Portraits (solo, family, maternity/mother + baby, seniors, etc.), Fine Art Boudoir, Head Shots + Personal Branding, Actor Head Shots, & Pageant Head Shots
How far in advance should I schedule my photo shoot?
We book approximately 4-5 weeks out. This timeline can vary depending on how busy the studio is, so please feel free to reach out for the most up to date booking timeline!
You are also welcome to book your photo shoot out 2-3 months in advance if that is more convenient for your schedule. Many clients opt to book farther in advance in order to keep their calendar in order!
How do I book?
Fill out the contact form here to inquire. From there, we will schedule a complimentary Zoom consultation. This is when we will discuss how you would like to be photographed, go over the process, and I can answer any questions you have. From there, we will get you officially booked in!
Where will my photo shoot take place?
The studio is located in Norwich, Connecticut, but my team + I are available to travel to your desired location upon request!
Can I bring a friend with me to my photo shoot?
Yes! The studio is an intimate setting and we want the focus to remain on you, so we ask that it be limited to one friend. We also ask that they not interfere with the photo shoot process, but they can cheer you on all they want from the (comfy) couch!
*Minors should be accompanied by a guardian, and pets may need a designated pick up/drop off person who is not being photographed.
What should I wear/bring to my photo shoot?
Keely, our studio wardrobe stylist, will meet with you over Zoom a couple of weeks before your shoot to discuss wardrobe and will let you know what you’ll need to bring with you.
How much does a photo shoot cost?
The Signature Session is $1,500 + tax. This includes an initial design consultation, professional wardrobe styling, a custom photo shoot experience with hair and makeup and multiple looks and credit to spend on images at your Reveal. The majority of our clients spend between $2,500-$10,000 on their image collections and wall art, but what you choose to spend is completely up to you! You only buy what you LOVE.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I offer weekly pre-payment plans that can be used to pay your session fee over time and also build up a healthy amount of Studio Credit before your photo shoot.
If you choose to purchase more than your Studio Credit will cover at your Reveal, 50% of your remaining balance will be due at that time. The rest can be split into auto payments over a maximum of 12 weeks.
Please note that no digital images can be finalized or delivered until your balance is completely paid, and printed products will be ordered following digital delivery. I am happy to go over these options with you in more depth during our consultation!
What is your retouching philosophy?
At the end of your Reveal, we will take a look through your chosen image collection and chat about retouching — anything specific you may want me to address, and the things I plan to do (removing a visible clamp, fly away hairs, etc.). Typically, requests are minor tweaks, and sometimes clients LOVE their unretouched images as is and want me to just do my color toning/finishing!
There is no correct level of retouching, it’s just about being intentional with adjustments so that you look like yourself in your photographs.
What is an Image Reveal & Selection Appointment?
Following your photo shoot, I will invite you back into the studio or over Zoom to view the photographs we created together. This is the time when you make your selections, complete payment if you decide to upgrade, and then we get to customize the printed products in your collection! What you choose is completely up to you, but I will be there guide you through the entire process.
What printed products do you offer?
All of our products are made to order in Italy. Offerings include matted fine art prints, Reveal Boxes, Storybooks, Wall Art, and more. View them and get inspired here!
Will I receive digital images?
Yes. Each photograph you choose at your Reveal includes the high-resolution JPEG delivered via private online gallery accessible on mobile and desktop.
